Used-listing decision support

Check used listings and eBay asking prices before you buy

Kjøpsvakten helps buyers assess second-hand listings before payment. eBay is the primary automatic source for international asking-price references, while listings from FINN and other unsupported marketplaces can be analysed from text and screenshots that you provide yourself.

Start with the exact product, not a broad search term

A useful comparison needs the correct brand, model, generation, variant and sale form. Kjøpsvakten is designed to keep explicit differences separate and to treat missing evidence as uncertainty instead of silently assuming that two products are identical.

Use active eBay listings as references, not guaranteed market value

Automatic eBay analysis compares the target with sufficiently similar active listings when the evidence is strong enough. Active listings show seller asking prices, not confirmed completed-sale prices. When the comparison set is too weak, Kjøpsvakten lowers confidence or suppresses a precise verdict rather than presenting false precision.

Check condition, missing information and transaction risk

A price can only be interpreted together with condition and what is actually included. The report also highlights information worth clarifying with the seller and risk signals that deserve attention. Kjøpsvakten is decision support and cannot guarantee that a listing or seller is genuine.
